Nitro Champs returns for Sydney Dragway blast-off

 

Sydney Dragway has confirmed that the Nitro Champs will return to its strip this year, with an all-star ANDRA line-up including every Australian Championship class across Group One and Sportsman brackets.

Sydney Dragway is naturally proud to welcome the event, which will be held on the first weekend in May, home.

“We will have every category at the event, including all of the group one classes as well as every Sportsman bracket. That means a huge field of racers from around Australia,” Sydney Dragway General Manager Luke Smith said.
 
“The entertainment factor is something that we are trying to emphasise in all of our events at Sydney Dragway and the Nitro Champs is about as entertaining as it gets!

“It will be a weekend full of non–stop action packed racing for the fans in the stands.”

Smith also announced that the venue would pay 100% prize money payouts for this event, which will naturally add to the attraction.

The event already traditionally boasts the season’s best weather conditions and massive entry lists, with 400 teams attending the event.

“It’s what we have been aiming for, and it’s fantastic for our competitors and great for our venue,” Smith said.
