Summit Racing Equipment secures Sportsman naming rights

 

Leading American high performance part retailer, Summit Racing Equipment will be the naming rights sponsor of the ANDRA Drag Racing Sportsman Series from 2015.

Summit Racing Equipment is renowned for its range, value and customer service – with parts available through catalogues, online, and via super-outlets in America.

Motorsport and Events Manager at Summit Racing Equipment, Jim Greenleaf, was present at the Australian Nationals and believes the sport is taking a positive direction.

“Summit Racing is excited to be the title sponsor of the Sportsman Series, as well as being a partner with ANDRA to take sport of drag racing to the next level in Australia,” Greenleaf said.

“I was very impressed with the quality of the racer cars, the level of competition, and the enthusiasm of the racers, teams, and spectators.”

The Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series will expand to 12 classes next year, with the addition of Top Sportsman.

ANDRA CEO Malcolm Bulley said he’s equally as passionate about the new deal and welcomes the global brand. 

“As we continue to grow, we welcome their input into our premier Sportsman Drag Racing Championship,” Bulley said.

“We look forward to working with Summit Racing Equipment to further develop the Sportsman Series.” 

The opening round of the 2015 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series takes place 17-18 January at South Coast Raceway, Portland.
