Mopar's Lee Bektash X Factor for Sydney Dragway's X Champs

Mopar-factory Pro Stock driver, Lee Bektash is hoping to repeat his X Champs victory of 2013 and after being the quickest car at the recent season-opening Southern Nationals, he's ready to turn that form into wins once more.

"I'm excited to get back to Sydney Dragway – I love that our car goes so well there, we won this event at this time last year in the best total event performance that we have ever had," Bektash said.

"The Sydney Dragway track crew does a great job preparing the racing surface as well as the whole facility.

"We are going there looking for some great times. If there atmospheric conditions are right, this will be a very, very quick Pro Stock field."

The X Champs includes all ANDRA Pro categories as well as the Aeroflow Sportsman Series, with 20 Pro Stockers entered for the 16-car field.

"Pro Stock is just such a tight bracket, so many good cars I couldn't even begin to tell you who is likely to win, hopefully it's the Mopar car!"
