The Australian Drag Racing Nationals is roaring back into town
What sounds like distant thunder is actually the sound of thousands of horses coming your way at over 500 kmh!
The fastest show on Earth – the Australian Drag Racing Nationals – is roaring back into town on November 2, 3 and 4 bringing with it more speed, excitement and entertainment than ever before!!!
With a full contingent of the fastest race cars and bikes on the planet including Top Fuel, Top Doorslammer, Top Alcohol, Pro Stock, Top Bike, Pro Stock Bike and all your favourite Aeroflow Sportsman Championship drag racers, the Australian Nationals in one of the biggest events on the Australian National Drag Racing Association’s (ANDRA) calendar.
While the racing itself is enough to keep you glued to your seat don’t forget you can also visit the paddock area and get a close up look at the race cars. Unique to drag racing the drivers are happy to say hello, smile for a photo and if you ask nicely, you may even be able to have a sit in a drag racing car!
To further whet your appetite for a fabulous weekend how about being able to watch all the action from the XXXX B-Double Beer Truck overlooking the racing surface? The gorgeous XXXX Angels will be on hand treating the crowd to their dance routines while the kids can visit kid’s corner, have their face painted while having fun within the carnival atmosphere!
Finally, make sure you hang around after the racing on Saturday night with drag racing and rock music coming together with live band front man “Matt Schlam” (nephew of the legendary Jimmy Barnes) taking centre stage following the fireworks display!
