Ron Capps lands in Australia

NHRA Funny Car star Ron Capps has landed in Australia and has wasted no time in getting ready for this weekend's Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car event at Sydney Dragway.

Capps arrived in Australia on Monday with the American immediately heading to the team workshop to check out the seat of his ride for this weekend's event – the LA Hooker Plymouth Arrow.

Today Capps and his family, wife Shelley and daughter Taylor, toured the Sydney Dragway facility with venue CEO Graham Elliott, above and below, with the 41-time NHRA national event winner giving the world-class venue his tick of approval.

The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car event takes place at Sydney Dragway this Saturday, with nitro runs at 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
