VIDEO - First Side-By-Side 5-sec Top Fuel Motorcycle Pass

 

Two-wheeled history has been re-written in the United States with the first ever side-by-side five second Top Fuel Motorcycle drag race, DragBike.com has reported.

The historic pass was contested by the legendary Larry "the Spiderman" McBride and Dave Vantine who were match racing at the WPGC Bike Fest, held at Maryland International Raceway, Budds Creek, Maryland.

McBride won the race with his 5.791-second run at 232.23mph, with Vantine red-lighting away his first ever five, a 5.974/231.46.
